I love love love taking portaits of people. I have some beautiful images of people I don’t know. It’s sad to have captured moments that I know they would enjoy.
I wish I could hand a business card to everyone I take a photo of on the street or at events. They would probably think I’m a weirdo.
Just like the image above, there were two girls celebrating the lighting of the Christmas tree in Fair Oaks Village a few years ago. The lighting was gorgeous! There was confetti or fake snow in the air. I was in the middle of everything. Taking pictures of the lights and the trees and the people. I get a lot of family shots and photos of people having fun and being relaxed and happy.
It’s sad to have something I can’t share, so I cut this one into parts. Since you can’t see faces they are unidentifiable. Then I did some digital juju with Photoshop. I like how it turned out.
I’m going to look for ways to tell stories with objects and try to keep faces out of some of my work so that I can use it on anything. This would make a pretty holiday card. It would also make a nice painting on a large canvas. Don’t steal it. It’s copyrighted. =) I know you wouldn’t do that.
This will be a fun project to see what I can come up with.
